ABOUT ME

Biomechanics, Communication, Behavior, Spiders.

I use spiders and insects to ask questions about how animals move and communicate. I study the different ways that natural and sexual selection interact in communication and locomotion systems.

My approach is integrative and multidisciplinary, using methods from behavioral ecology, thermal physiology, and biomechanics.
